Ethan and his randomness!

Ethan loves the Piano Guy's Cello Wars...pretty much because it's Star Wars on the cello.

When we listen to the cd and Cello Wars comes on, he grabs two chairs, sits down and "plays his cello."

 He's seen the you tube video many times and "fights" with his light saber bow at the right time.

 Remember how Ethan loves dinosaurs? We went to see Discover the Dinosaurs a few weeks ago and he liked putting his head in the dinosaurs' mouths.

 Ethan loves to read and since he needs to read everyday for school, he reads to Mike or me.

 Last week he got to dress like a pirate for school. Captain Jack Sparrow wore rings on every finger and since I have a LARGE collection of rings, I let him borrow a few of mine as long as he didn't lose them.

Emma's FIRST dance recital

Last Saturday was a busy, full, and early day!

Emma had her first dance recital. She started dance classes in January. I knew she needed them when she put on her shoes and jumped right up on her toes and did a ballet move. She started the next week!

She loves dance, so do I.

Emma's class danced in the matinee (4:00 pm) show but her dress rehearsal was at 8:30 am in Provo at Timpview high school. Luckily we didn't have to hang out at the school til her show. We hung out at Grandma and Grandpa's...more fun for the kids that way.

 Because taking pictures during the program is discouraged, I took pictures during her rehearsal.

Jackson

Once in a while I just have to do a post on each of my kids, cute pictures and all!

Jackson is a cute kid and makes me laugh every day.

Some times he's just too cute when he sleeps to not take a picture!

 He has a few shirts that describe him and his personality.

 Jackson loves dogs and when my brother and sister-in-law got their puppy, Jackson fell in love. I think cause she's not much smaller than he is.

Looking at the new house made us hungry!

We drive out to the new house every Friday to see the progress and last week, we had plumbing. This week, electrical has been going in.

I saw my front door, it's awesome, it'll be even awesomer when it is painted the awesome red that we picked.

The kids are hiding in one of the storage rooms in the basement.

 There are going to be so many places to hide when we play hide and go seek. someone may actually get lost for a while!

(We don't need the basement to be finished yet, so it'll stay like this until we need it. But when we do finish it, it'll be awesome!)

 I am so excited to have a BIG kitchen with lots of cupboard space and a BIG pantry. That in the left corner is my pantry (at least 3 times bigger than the one I have now). And there will be an island in the middle of the kitchen. (This picture was taken about where we will be putting the kitchen table.)

 After seeing the house and all the work going on inside, we went to the Pizza Pie Café...mmmmm!

The kids got some balloon animals. Jackson was on the end watching the guy make them and was a little concerned!

Emma asked Mike the other day if he wanted "a piece of this?" with these scrunched up, angry faces. We just had to get a picture of them!

Ethan recently had a fund raiser at school and got this eye cover thing as one of his many, many prizes. It's funny but when I go in at 10:30 pm to  turn off his lamp and see this, it's not so funny!

The new house is coming along! As of today (May 3, 2013) just after quitting time, this is what the house looks like!

 We took a walk through! Emma was surprised to find wood in her room! But she's very excited to have her own room that will end up being pink with either princess or butterfly pictures on the wall!

 This is what will be the kids' bathroom. Where Emma and Jackson are will be the bathtub and they are more than excited to jump in!

 They're still in the bathroom only Jackson is now in his room.
