My 8 month old piano player

Emma is very attracted to the piano these days. It starts when I sit down to practice and she crawles over to play at my feet and play with the pedals. When I am done practicing, I pick her up and put her on my lap so she can play.

I think she looks better at the piano all by herself, don't you?

Here she is practicing a hymn for Relief Society tomorrow. And a video of her playing.

AARRGGG!!!

First off, I have to say that I love this kid more than any other kid has ever been loved before and more than any other kid will ever be loved...

But I need some advice! So help, please.

Last week he took half an hour to finish eating dinner and tonight he took an hour to finish eating dinner. (I did fix stuff he eats and likes.) What advice would you mothers, or others, give me to help him eat faster. I don't want him to eat so fast he gets a tummy ache but it would be nice if he could eat in under 20 minutes, or is that too much to ask?

Dancing Queen

Here is my baby girl dancing! Oh it's so funny, at least I think so. She does a pretty good job dancing to nursery rhymes though she prefers some of the songs that are to your right!

When we were in MN at Christmas, we went to the Children's Museum and he got to play guitar and be in a music video.

This was waiting for us when we got home from MN. Ethan LOVES it. Anyone know where it came from? There wasn't a card and we weren't home when it came. We'd really like to thank whoever made it. It's so cool!

I rememeber watching this show when I was a kid. I only ever watched it when I was sick. Scooby-Doo and The Brady Bunch, I don't know why I only watch them when I was sick, I just did!

Ethan is the best big brother to his little sister! I know he loves her, just look at his face as he admires her.

There have been a few interesting and fun things that Emma has discovered and fallen in love with lately. I just wanted to share...

I've been catching up on the series and every time I put it on and she is with me, she watches with me.
Yup, she's an MJ fan too! Her favorite song is "Beat It!" And she dances to it oh so cute!
What 8 month old doesn't love Elm0? I first noticed it when we went to the library and she picked the book with Elmo on it. She now smiles and giggles when she sees Elmo!

And last but not least...
First herself, she gets the biggest smile on her face when she looks in the mirror or sees this picture which is the background on my computer. But she also adores her big brother. Always has and I think she always will.
