Kitchen and bathroom

We check out the new house weekly. This week, the cabinets are in! I'm so excited to see everything coming together.
TWO pictures of the kitchen from the dining area

The island! Can I say that I'm excited to have an island?
The kitchen, dining area, and mud room floor
 Our master bathroom!
This week---CARPET going in.
Three weeks to go :)

Slipping and Sliding

We got a new slip and slide this year. I pulled the one out that we've been using for the last three years and it was gross. Dirty and spider webs ALL OVER!
The kids LOVE the new slip and slide, they should, they picked it out!

They had fun with the squirt guns too!

Despite the hot weather, the water is cold, so they take many breaks to warm up.
I pulled the slide for them to go down onto the slip and slide and that was fun too!

Super Hero!

My kids like to dress up. Emma, mostly in princess clothing, Ethan in his Halloween costume from last year. And since we have them, I like to try super hero capes on Jackson. Here are a few of my heroes, all dressed up!

Every super hero has a super power, right? Ethan's is climbing walls.
He's teaching Jackson and Jackson is trying to learn by climbing the wall.

To The RESCUE!!

We have our own Jack-in-the-box!

Hahahahahahahahaha

Likes

Ethan likes his new(ish) Star Wars hoodie complete with a Darth Vader mask thing
Emma likes to ask Mike to play his guitar so she can sing
(I like that she grabbed a mic to sing into)
Jackson likes to be involved in anything the big kids are doing
Emma also likes to help Mike play the guitar
I like that my new house is covered in black paper and chicken wire prepped for stucco
Ethan really likes the new great room
I like that 4 people can fit into my new pantry
I also really, really, really like kissing my kids!

Graduations and field day

Emma graduated from her 3 year old preschool class and was so cute doing it. Her class sang a song and then she received her certificate of completion!
The graduate
 The graduate and her besty
(dunno know they don't look so happy!)
 Receiving her certificate
Emma said she wanted a picture with her teacher, Miss Janae
tada
The next day, Ethan had field day and wanted to run the fun run. We all went to support him.
At the start line
At the finish line with the proof that he ran!
Then he had more activities. He ran the 50 and 100 yard dash and did awesome!
The hoola hoop game was a hit.
He thought he was so cool cause he hoola hooped around his neck.
 Emma joined in
 so did Jackson
Jackson also graduated! He decided to take a leap out of his crib and his a toy and got a black eye so we took the side of the crib off so he could get out of bed easier.
He was pretty excited
 Learning to crawl out
After an hour and a half of him getting up, waking/bothering Emma, knocking on the door and putting him back to bed a LOT, he finally fell asleep in this position!
It's only been two nights and two naps. He seems to be getting better at going to sleep faster. It will be better to have an annoying, up all the time Jackson than a hurt Jackson, right?
