Remember this?

This was found on our front porch when we were gone at Christmas time. There was no tag, no one told us they wanted to make a digger for Ethan. It just showed up. My dad told me all about it when I talked to him on the phone just days after he and my mom took it into our house. Of course the first thought that crossed my mind was, "My dad made it!" Nope, I asked him and that's what he said. My mom denied it too.
We had our friends over for pizza one night and they suggested maybe our next door neighbor made it for Ethan cause he does lots of stuff like this in his garage. We never got around to asking him, until Sunday. We were playing in the backyard. Mike was teaching Ethan some soccer and Mike kicked the soccer ball over the fence. He had to go ask to get into the backyard to get the ball back, and took this opportunity to ask about the digger Ethan loves so much. (We just wanted to thank whoever made it because it's so cool and so loved!) Well, when Mike asked our neighbor he said no as he was nodding his head. (I know this makes sense to you, Angie, but only if we were in Bulgaria :)) It was supposed to be a secret, but we just love it and will have bucket loads of fun with it this summer!
Thanks neighbor!

Outside fun

I have always loved spring. Flowers popping up, green grass, snow melting, and the warmer weather. Last weekend was so perfect that the kids and I couldn't not take advantage of the nice weather. We headed out to the swing set for Emma's first time in our infant swing.
I'm pretty sure she liked it, don't you agree?
Both kids love the swings.
We got to uncover the sandbox and play in that for the first time since the weather turned warm.
And Emma discovered rocks and the dirt....mmmmm!
(thank goodness for spray and wash)
Emma loves being outside so much that when we come inside, this is how I find her just seconds later.
This picture was actually taken today after running a short errand. It was too cold to play outside but she still wanted to go out. After dinner we all put on our jackets, put Emma in the stroller with a blanket and went for a walk.
Emma has always loved the outdoors. When she was a newborn and was fussy, I'd put her in the Baby Bjorn and we'd head out for a walk. She'd calm right down. I can tell we will be spending a lot of time outside this spring and summer...I can't wait!

Did they or didn't they?

That is the question at our house today?
Did the dinosaurs roam OUR earth? Or did they roam another earth that was used in the "matter unorganized" to create our earth?
The two sides go like this-
1. On day 5 when God created animals, that included the dinosaurs. And where did the fossils and bones come from?
2. Yes there are bones and fossils found here, but wouldn't they have also existed on another planet and if that planet was used to create earth the fossils and bones would be here too. And wouldn't t-rex have eaten the lions, tigers, bears, horses, etc?
I know it's not an eternal principal that one has to have a testimony or not of the dinosaurs, but it's just a thought that's been rolling around in my head all morning.
What's your opinion?
