Wedding stuff

We really finally made it to Nebraska! And to prove it, here are some pictures from our trip! We stayed at a pretty nice hotel, nothing too fancy, but I really liked it! We had 2 queen sized beds in our room so Ethan got his own. He was a little confused about why he got a big bed, but he didn't complain. He loves this blanket that Janae made for him. He takes it everywhere and calls it his star blanket. I've been trying to get him to talk to you, Janae, about it, but he's too shy!
Jake and Mary's wedding was at the Winter Quarter's Temple. It is really pretty. Mary's younger sister and some friends watched the 7 Herrington grandchildren in the basement of the visitors center during the ceremony and then us parents went to pick them up and dress them for pictures outside the temple. On our way across the street to the temple, Ethan asked me, "Mom, is that Captain Moroni?" pointing to the top of the temple.
(At least he was close.) When we got to the temple grounds, he just wanted to take a moment to stop and smell the flowers.
Ethan had so much fun with his Herrington cousins. It was fun to see how they haven't seen eachother in almost a year and a half but he just fit right in with Mike's older brother's 3 boys! Here they are enjoying the sun.
Silly me, I didn't take any pictures of the bride and groom but I did get a great picture of Aunty Sarah at the reception dancing with her neice and nephews.
This just might be one of my favorite pictures from the whole day. Grandpa Herrington swinging Ethan around.
We had a great time visiting with family. We were only with them for really a day, but hey, we'll get to see them again at Christmas for a week or so!

I'm glad you were able to visit with your in-laws. Traveling is not easy, but worth the visit. My kids are so excited to come to Utah.

I'm glad that Ethan has some boy cousins his age, and that he got to spend some time getting reacquainted. All the boys look really nice in their white shirts and blue ties!
