Back and Out

Yesterday we had play group here and Ethan loves to play on the swings. Sometimes I'd rather talk to the other moms and not push Ethan so I tried to teach him to pump. He's catching on and when I heard him saying, "Back and out, back and out..." I knew he was cating on.
Here he is "back"
Here he is somewhat "out"
(He's really saying "cheese" in these pictures not just looking goofy!)

I wouldn't have said goofy. He looks adorable! I need to find swings around here to take my kids to. I used to play on the swings every recess in elementary school. I think they barely know what they are. Way to go Ethan, pumping is hard to do.

It is such a relief when they can finally push themselves. It is so boring to just stand and push them and they love it so much. Good for you Ethan.

I always feel guilty when I don't want to push my kids on the swings! They love it so much, but I'm the same as you (maybe that's why we're friends) and I'd rather talk to the other moms too!!! Hooray for the pump!

Good for Ethan. Maybe when he becomes a master he could teach Becca, because so far she's a pretty spazzy pumper.

He is getting so big! I have yet to teach Dawson to pump himself... he tells me it is WAY funner when I give him underdogs than to pump himself. ughhh!
I just caught up on all your action going on! Congrats on the new job Mike! Karen, I bet you are loooooving having him around more often! YIPPEE!
Love your halloween costumes! Sounds like a fun party!
