Yesterday Ethan found Mike's temple bag, grabbed it and said, "I'm off to the temple." He is so excited to get to go to the temple someday. When we go, he always tells me he wants to go too. I explain to him that he has to wait 9 more years. We are looking forward to the Corner Canyon Temple open house so he can go inside the temple. I just know he'll love it.
And he's off!

Our RS Pres gave a great talk about temples in church, yesterday. She said after her son returned home from his mission, he married in the temple, but then never went back to the temple. She sadly realized that for all those years, she and her husband had been encouraging mission prep but rarely talking about the temple as a family. After a decade of not having a temple recommend, he was called to serve as the teacher for the temple prep class. He knew it was inspired and has been actively attending the temple ever since. Isn't that inspiring? I love the temple! I'm glad Ethan does, too. :)
