This morning, Ethan woke up a lot earlier than he usually does, especially on Sundays. I usually have to wake him up at 8 and he was up and at 'em at 6:45! Needless to say, he was there, in the room, with Mike when Mike was getting dressed and ready for church. Ethan likes to help and always helps Mike pick out what tie to wear to church. Today, Ethan wanted to wear a tie too and her is the end result
He wanted to wear it to church so we let him. He got a lot of comments on it and doesn't it look great?

It is fun. We never had Caleb wearing Daddy's ties, but once we got him his own her threw (and still throws fits) because he didn't want to wear it.
I got pretty nice zipper ties at Swiss Days last year and they were pretty cheap. It is ties by Dwan and she also sells at the Quilted Bear in Provo, or at least she used to.
I love/hate how much they love their independence and want to be grown up. It is all so bitter sweet!

Aw that's so sweet that he wants to be like daddy. Don't think that only boys want to be like daddy though-Whitney tries to put on Tommy's aftershave because she watches him shave in the morning sometimes. Kids are so funny!
