I love having my own bed
This morning Ethan woke up earlier, a lot earlier, than he usually does. I was still sleeping so I made him climb in bed with me so I could rest. He rested too, with his feet and knees in my back. It really made me appreciate the fact that he sleeps in his own bed and so do I, Mike's there, but his feet and knees stay out of my back. Thanks, Mike!

This is ironic, considering that Braden wanted to snuggle with me in bed this morning too. Unlucky for him, he got really wiggly and jabbed my bladder with his elbow. When your mom is pregnant, that gets you kicked out pretty quick.
I agree! Kids need their own bed, and so do mommies and daddies. I do love to snuggle with my kids, but Emily knows she can't climb into our bed until it's light out. I put poster boards in her window so even if it's light at 5:30am, it's still dark in her room. So she'll wander in around 7 and ask, "Is is light yet?" Instead of asking, "Is it morning yet?" It's so funny! :)
